The story
A century and a half of stone, restored to exacting standards
In 1863, a masseria was built here — a fortified Puglian farmhouse with thick walls of Puglian stone, cool vaulted ceilings, muretti a secco threading between the olive trees.
A hundred and sixty years on, the restoration has kept it all: you sleep beneath the vaults, walk on stone floors, rest your book in a niche carved straight into the wall.
One bold stroke: the Pompeian-red façade, rare in this part of Puglia, blazing against the whitewash and the silver-green of the olives.
It's what you'll remember — along with the calm of a countryside where the dolce vita isn't a slogan but a rhythm, the one guests come for.

The tour
Four independent spaces, each with its own door
Eight guests, yet everyone has a place of their own. You close your door at night and open it in the morning onto the wide Puglian-stone terrace. A rare kind of privacy for a house that sleeps eight.

Independent entrance, a 160 × 190 cm bed, private bathroom. Above, a mezzanine holds two 90 × 190 cm single beds. The family room: the children fall asleep up there, you hear them whisper, then nothing.

where everyone meets
Every room opens onto it. The great Puglian-stone terrace, where lunches stretch long, between swims. The pool changing room extends it, so salt water never has to pass through the house.

Salt water, beneath the olive trees
The first length of the morning, in the silence of the garden, is yours alone. The water is salt, the pool infinity-edged, lined with sun loungers and parasols.
Around it, olive and fig trees, dry-stone walls, the vine.
Dinner grilled in the summer kitchen, salt rinsed off under the hot outdoor shower, a book left behind in the reading corner: your days stretch out here, with no reason to go back inside.

The masseria, by night. Three moments the day never sees.
Aperitivo
Around seven, the light tips over. You climb the vaulted staircase with a tray: olives, burrata, a glass. The countryside turns amber, the crickets drown out everything else.
The tavolata
Later, the table is laid under the lit vine pergola. The pool holds the sky's last colour. Nobody checks the time.
Night
The pool stays lit — one last swim in the turquoise water, or just your feet. Then the cool night under the vaults, the air conditioning silent, and the complete darkness of the countryside.

Victor & Fabienne's villa is absolutely magnificent. Everything was very clean and looked after with great care. They have created a little paradise that we count ourselves lucky to have discovered for a few days during our family holiday.
The property is so beautiful, even better than the photos! We loved the terrace, the gorgeous garden and the breeze by the pool. The house is very well maintained and was absolutely spotless when we arrived.
This is a gem, beautifully designed, a paradise. Victor and Fabianne have meticulously arranged the house so that you feel right at home. They left us fresh fruit, coffee, champagne and more on arrival.
What an amazing place! A true oasis: the property is so beautiful and every little detail has been thought of, inside and out. We enjoyed days spent in the pool, as if we were at a resort.
Beautiful, peaceful and quiet setting - wonderful gardens and lovely bedrooms. We were completely relaxed. Highly recommended for a quiet holiday with family or friends, where the main aim is to switch off in beautiful surroundings.

Polignano first, then the whole valley
Ten minutes away, Polignano a Mare hangs its white old town above the cove of Lama Monachile. The diving championships are held on those cliffs.
You go down for a morning swim, and back up for the evening passeggiata.
And from the masseria's countryside, the whole of Puglia is within reach: beaches, caves, trulli, white wine and hilltop towns.
